Transfer VHS to DVDMany customers say to us, "I did this years ago! I had my old film transferred to VHS tape. Should I send in the VHS tape to transfer to DVD?" Home Movie Depot can always transfer VHS to DVD; however, if you still have the original 8mm, super8, or 16mm film, we would recommend having that film transferred to DVD. In any case, a film to DVD transfer is always better than a film to VHS transfer. Film itself is a very high quality media- that's why "Hollywood" still uses it today! So, in order to get the truest possible transfer, it's best to have the film transferred to a high quality media. A DVD's quality is always higher than VHS. While no quality will be lost when you transfer VHS to DVD, more quality can be preserved when transferring the original film to DVD. Home Movie Depot is proud to price match any of our competitor's Video Tape to DVD transfers. If you find a lower price from another company for this service, simply contact us and we will match their price! |
