We believe that the best part of getting your home movies transferred, is being able to share them with family and friends again! You have the exciting opportunity to be part of a new, unique way to have fun with your memories. We have the distinct privilege of preserving a piece of history with every film that we transfer. We think it is important for you to be able to share these films with the history buffs, sports enthusiast, historians, educators, and students in your family.

The Home Movie Depot Archive is a public collection of streaming video, voluntary submitted by Home Movie Depot customers and friends. The archive acts as an Internet journal for friends, family, and other interested parties to chat about the films. Only other Home Movie Depot customers can leave comments about the film.

Every 8mm film, super8, or 16mm film transfer customer will receive the option to add their films to the Home Movie Depot public archive. We will house your streaming video files- an online copy of your movies- for an entire year- completely FREE of charge!

Every Home Movie Depot customer chooses a user name to appear with the movies. No personal information from your Home Movie Depot customer account will be attached to your films. You continue to be the owner of the movies and you can remove them from the Home Movie Depot public archive at any time.
