Many customers wish to incorporate Home Movie Depot's film and video transfers into a personal home editing project. With the proper software and equipment, this can be a fun and fulfilling endeavor. Home Movie Depot is proud to offer our high quality film and video transfer directly onto hard drives. Your 8mm, Super8, 16mm Film, VHS tapes, or 35mm slides will be transferred and captured onto an external hard drive, allowing the most immediate access to the files.

Hard Drive Specifications

Home Movie Depot uses external USB 2.0 PC or Mac formatted hard drives. The size of the drive that you receive will depend on the size of your order. Our hard drives vary in size from 160GB to 1TB. If your order has more than one media type (film video and slides), we will put all of your files onto the same hard drive!

Guarantee

Home Movie Depot offers a 30 day guarantee on the hard drive and will re-transfer the media if the drive fails during that 30 day time period. We will be glad to issue a FedEx pre-paid shipping label for the return of the home movies. The film or video re-transfer will be free of charge.
