You will receive email notification when your order arrives at our facility, as well as when we ship everything back to you. You can even check the status of your order while it is in our building, just by logging into your account!

Every reel is cleaned, and reels are spliced together before they are converted, to ensure the highest quality transfer.

From Film to DVD, By the Foot, or Flat Fee Option

We believe that every customer should be able to get their film and video transferred to DVD at high quality for a fair price.

Do you have a lot of film? If so, the Flat Fee option is for you! All you have to do is place your order, pick up a box of the correct dimensions (18” x 13” x 3”), fill it with your media (details), and we take care of the rest.

If you only have a couple of reels, you can still get them transferred! No order is too small! Just choose Itemized Pricing when you place your order. You will be very happy with the result.

Film Editing

For your convenience, Home Movie Depot offers several ways to edit your 16mm, 8mm, and Super 8 film:

Use our Online Editor: This is available to every customer! Once your original material and basic DVD’s have been shipped back to you, just log into your account on our website and customize your memories! You can add music, titles, even change the order and exclude the reels that you don’t want. Then, order edited DVD’s with your changes to be sent to anyone you like! You have 30 days from the date we ship the originals back to take advantage of this option. They make great gifts!

Get Your Movies Transferred to an External Hard Drive or a Flash Drive: This option is only available to customers who choose Premium Quality. If you select this option during the order process, we will convert your home movies to an external hard drive. You can edit them on your home computer with the video editing software of your choice. We can format the drive to be compatible with PC’s or Mac’s. This is our most popular product!
