Premium HD film transfer utilizes the newest advancements in high-definition cameras to digitize your 8mm and super8 film.

Our Premium HD Film Transfer combines the best of the viewing and editing benefits. We capture the film footage with a JVC GY-HD100 HD720p High-Definition camera. This elite quality camera uses a digital signal resulting in the truest image and clearest color that a camera will allow. You have your choice of output media between a DVD and a hard drive.

Currently, the Premium HD Transfers will be put onto a standard format DVD. The DVD will be excellent for viewing because of the high definition camera that captured the files. Home Movie Depot is looking forward to the the standardization of high-definition DVD players and discs, so that we may produce a high-definition DVD for these film transfers as well! As soon as a standard format is in place, we'll be pleased to offer you the high definition files of your home movies on DVD.

If you would currently like to have a copy of the high-definition files, a hard drive is the ideal output media. The hard drive is essential for those who wish to edit the high-definition footage at home. If you order a hard drive with your Premium transfer, you will receive two files:
1. HD MPEG- with a resolution 1280x720 and a bit rate 19.7 mbs
2. AVI- with a resolution 720x480
