How The Gift Box Works
Limits on Gift Box
The Gift Box can contain up to 30 reels of 8mm, super 8 and 16mm film. They can be any size, but larger reels will not fit in the 11 1/3" x 8 1/4" x 4" box.
You are also permitted up to include 15 video tapes. Camcorder tapes such as 8mm video, hi8, digital8, vhs-c and minidv fit best, though VHS and Betamax are also allowed.
Additionally, your gift box can contain up to 500 images. This includes printed photos up to 8" x 10", 35mm slides and 35mm negatives. For non-35mm slides and non-35mm negatives please use the customized option.
Any material included in the box that exceeds these limits will be charged at our standard rates.
Gift Box Upgrades
Premium Gift Box
Upgrading to a Premium Gift Box, means that the person receiving it will have their home movies transferred at the highest possible quality. This results in brighter colors, clearer faces, and greater definition. We highly recommend this upgrade! Required for Hard Drive Orders.
Gift Box Hard Drive
Archiving your families’ movies is important. So is the possibility of editing them now or further down the road. By selecting this option you are ensuring that this is a possibility. For only $119.95, we will produce digital files corresponding to your entire Gift Box and put them on a portable, convenient, USB external hard drive. Yes, we can create Mac compatible drives. Gift Box Flash Drive
This option is similar to a hard drive, except that the files are more compressed to allow delivery on a convenient flash drive that fits right in your pocket! More Information
